Privacy
This site uses Google Analytics for pageview stats — which posts get read, how often.
What is collected
Based on your consent, Google Analytics may track pages viewed, rough location, browser, and device, via two cookies — _ga and _ga_*, each lasting 2 years. Processed by Google — see Google’s privacy policy. Without consent, none of this loads and no analytics cookies are set.
Either way, the site sets one cookie, cc_cookie, remembering your choice for 6 months.
Pages also load fonts and libraries from third-party CDNs (Google Fonts, jsDelivr) regardless of your choice — your browser contacts those servers directly, which can see your IP.
Comments
Comments run on giscus, stored as GitHub Discussions on this site’s own repo, not handled by us. They load regardless of your analytics choice, since they aren’t analytics. Posting requires GitHub sign-in; GitHub and giscus handle that and can see your IP. See GitHub’s privacy statement.
